There's a group called Riot Ribs that's just been cooking constantly across from the federal building, well into the morning and through flashbangs and teargas. It has been absolutely emboldening to see.

Someone apparently also dumped spent tear gas munitions in front of Ted, who we loving refer to as Tear Gas Ted around here. Also, as I mentioned on chat with the gang, sentiment in Portland has MASSIVELY turned around as a result of the feds showing up. The feds have showed up and thrown gas on people's houses instead of onto the fire directly. My scrum master lives in downtown and I think it's also really harming his mental health.

God, I can't imagine actually living near these protests every night. I mean, more power to the protesters for sure, but the feds have essentially made it a warzone downtown.

I've been expecting the Portland subreddit to be as bad as the Seattle one is - I don't know if friendly posters are just posting more in Portland, or if public sentiment hasn't begun to turn in Seattle. Using Reddit as a sentiment gauge is a fallacy, however so... Idk man.
