I'll start.
I still don't know how to open a PDF thanks to the time spent on this game.

Oh man, what a throwback. For me it's gotta be Nethack. We would open up a terminal and telnet into the nethack server so we could play even though so many other things were restricted. It was amazing.
During high school though we also played the OG StarCraft and Counter Strike: Condition Zero off of bundled EXEs that were passed around on flash drives. Those were rad times.
Aether and I talked about this, and how it's getting more awkward to try to relive the flash glory days as time goes on. My best chance would be to really comb through Newground's all time top rated stuff on a dumb browser (IE?), I'm sure it would wild. Sadly, some other sites no longer exist, and I can't remember the names of the games to look them up elsewhere. I'll do some research this evening probably.
Armor games was my go-to. I did Science Olympiad in high school which meant that I was there almost every Saturday morning for 4 hours most of the year - a small portion of that time was spent playing flash games lol.
Looks like Microsoft is EOL-ing Flash on December 31, 2020. It'll be removed from Chrome permanently soon™, same with Firefox. I guess 2020 is the end of Flash as we know it, the end of an era along with the end of the decade.
