Any murder/true crime stuff. Serial S1 was good, yes. I just remember someone I was driving with having one on that was like "This serial killer did it for the fame, to be talked about in the future. And you may be asking yourself, did they succeed? Is this podcast fulfilling their wish? No. We take a deep dive into these cases and don't glorify the killer. Now, let's get back to how he peeled the skin off of women."

We tried a few ourselves, but I never found them much interest. @sWaMPqUeeN loves true crime, but the podcast space for it is just weird. Lots of overproduction and (as you've noted) killer idolization. Also my podcast line-up is to long anyway so I hardly take any podcast suggestions these days lol

Day Players is my own podcast and I cant even listen to it.

Political podcasts should be the easiest to keep up with because you just ignore old episodes, but I still dont care enough.

This thread was inspired by the end credits for a recent Hello From The Magic Tavern episode- the narrator for this part is a sassy character himself:

“[character] was played by special guest Clint McElroy from the podcast The Adventure Zone. If that title isn’t familiar, you’ve never posted the question “which podcast should I listen to?” on social media- my very favorite simultaneous cry for attention and cultural hand grenade to leave your friends fighting for days... while you drain their bank accounts.”
