Okay write up on my take on stoopid sports things from the past week.
Football:
The Seattle Seahawks SHOULDVE lost the game last Thursday if it wasn't for Greg "The Leg" Zurleiner missing a very easy field goal at by a few inches. Seen HERE The infuriating thing is that the players, coaches, media personalities, and every fucking joe-schmoe who only knew it was the anniversary of Paul Allen's death, attributed the missed field goal to the spirit of Paul Allen. I am a huge Seahawks fan, and it is a very sweet sentiment coming from the players in particular (and Russell Wilson who reportedly had a very close personal relationship with Tall ALlen), however the amount that the story line was beaten again and again made it lose its impact.
ThE NfL CaReS aBoUt PlAyR SAfeTY There were no penalties on this play. I thought I saw a man die on live TV. He was out before he even hit the ground. Best part of this is the the EMT cart they brought onto the field BROKE, so they made this guy WALK OFF THE FIELD. F A C K
Washington DC's Racist-ass NFL Team's head coach said in the post-game conference, "We'll see if my keys work on Monday" after another embarrassing loss at home. They did not...
MLB:
Playoffs are in full swing, and St. Louis Cardinals Odd-Year Bullshit is going on again. They scored 10 runs in the 1st inning of Game 5. The most in playoff history. They won and play the Nationals in the NLCS. Neither of them will defeat the Astros or Yankees in the World Series so who cares.
Also never become a Cubs fan...It's a painful existence.
NBA:
