What is XFL for sports dummies
On the simplest level, it's just professional football owned by people who aren't the NFL.
But in some ways, it represents a few more bizarre principles.
1.) The owner? WWE overlord Vince McMahon. No, it has nothing to do with WWE, but that dude is... weird.
2.) It has tried and failed to exist in the past, but I think the mix of people who can't afford professional football tickets and the chuds who are mad the NO FUN LEAGUE doesn't execute people who kneel during the national anthem has made it... tangible again?
3.) There are some minor rule changes that make the game more dangerous for players and more interesting for viewers.To own something that wild you have to be a little weird
