HOLY SHIT 66-year-old head coach and former Seahawks QB ran a 99-yard touchdown, dude still has legs, what a game.

As a season ticket holder, I feel blessed to have been able to witness it in person. Awe-inspiring.
While XFL continues with fake games, the cancelled year may mean it's the best season yet for the Mariners
The best XFL players are getting nabbed by the NFL. You can't blame them considering the paycheck upgrade for basically not having to play more than a couple snaps if the starters don't get injured- and so far, NFL seasons is still on schedule and the XFL couldn't get past the halfway mark.
I feel like this was kind of expected though, right? Like XFL as a testing ground for promising players then promoting them to the NFL. I feel it works that way in other sports but I might be completely misguided lol
That's the hope for sure. In the case of P.J. Walker, the team picking him up has a new head coach with lots of roster control & he was Walker's coach in college. His contract is dirt cheap (just above the veteran minimum) and they can cut him before the season starts for virtually nothing.

I'll always remember my year as a Seattle Dragons season ticket holder...
